Yvonne Patrick - Vocal

Yvonne Patrick began her professional career with D’Oyly Carte Opera Company before joining Glyndebourne Festival Opera, debuting as Despina in Così fan tutte. She has since performed soprano roles for several other renowned operatic companies, including Opera North, Welsh National Opera, Garsington Opera, Opera Brava, and the Carl Rosa Opera Company. Her wider résumé includes soloing in Gilbert & Sullivan for The Savoy Company in Philadelphia, in Mozart’s Requiem at Nairobi Cathedral, and on BBC Radio 2’s Friday Night Is Music Night.

In addition to her private practice, Yvonne teaches at Chichester University and at Lancing College.

Heidi Fardell - Woodwind & Brass

Now into her third prolific decade of professional woodwind performance and teaching, Heidi Fardell studied recorders and baroque flute for her postgraduate diploma at Birmingham Conservatoire. She performs on them with nationally renowned early music ensembles Armonico Consort and Fiori Musicali, and Oxford-based Sounds Historical, and has recorded for BBC Radio 3.

Heidi was the long-time Recorder Tutor at Junior Trinity (of Trinity Laban Conservatoire) until relocating to Oxfordshire in 2019. In addition to instrumental tuition and the coaching of several ensembles, she has delivered bespoke, inclusive musical workshops to some interesting clients, among them Kensington Palace, the Royal Festival Hall, Tate Britain, and the National Gallery.

Nancy Litten - Strings & Piano

A multiple prize-winning student of the Royal Academic of Music, Nancy Litten is a solo and orchestral violinist, pianist and piano accompanist, choir director and youth ensembles coach, and acclaimed published teacher of strings, piano, singing, and electronic keyboard. Her publications include rearrangements of Viennese favourites for piano-violin-cello trio, original solos for piano, series of tutors for violin and for keyboard, and three titles supporting singers and accompanists together.

Nancy is an international ABRSM examiner of 25 years, an advisor to both ABRSM and Trinity College London, and has contributed many exam pieces. She serves on the Adjudicators’ Council of BIFF as one of two representatives for music.
